Settings

Open Settings with Cmd/Ctrl + ,. It has four sections.

Theme

Sets the app's color theme. The choice is saved and applied on the next launch. The canvas background follows the theme when its source is set to Theme. See Background.

Tileset Order

Sets the order tilesets appear in the tileset picker. The choice is saved per user and applied on the next launch. Changing it reorders the open picker immediately.

Three orders are available:

• Name (A to Z): alphabetical by tileset name.
• Bundled first, then A to Z: the tilesets included with Infinihex first, then the rest, each group alphabetical.
• By library, then A to Z: grouped by the library each tileset belongs to, alphabetical within each group.

This is a display setting. It does not move or rename any files. See Tilesets & your art for how libraries and tilesets are organized.

Libraries

Lists the registered tileset folders. Add a folder to make its tiles available. If a library's folder has moved, use its Locate… control to point Infinihex at the new location. See Tilesets & your art for how libraries work.

Shortcuts & Controls

Links to the full keyboard shortcut reference, and holds control options that change how the app responds while painting. One option is Rotate a tile with right-click while painting, which rotates the tile under the cursor without switching to the Rotate tool. With that option on, right-click no longer pans the canvas over painted tiles. Use space-drag or middle-drag to pan.
