Colors

Alongside tile art, you can paint with flat colors. The Colors tab in the right rail holds the palette.

Painting with Color

• Click a swatch in the Colors tab to set it as the current brush source, then paint as usual.
• Press E for the eraser to clear painted hexes.

Flat color is useful for blocking out regions (land versus sea, biome zones, territory) before you commit to tile art, or as a finished look on its own.

Editing the Palette

The Colors tab's swatches are editable, so you can build a palette that fits the map you're making rather than working from fixed defaults.

Colors in the Generator

The random generator uses the same idea: each generator swatch pairs a base color or tile with a role. See The generator.
